College to launch new Master’s Course

In his opening remark, The Dean, Dr.Essey Kebede, asserted that the introduction of the course will enable the university to investigate the challenges and problems affecting the aquatic resources of the nation.

Explaining the objective, Dr.Ayalew Wondie of Biology Program claimed that the launching of the course will help the university to train professional experts at highest level, to produce researchers on water and water related areas and to fill the deficit of trained human power at regional and national levels.

During the function, external evaluators from Addis Ababa University,Hawassa University and World Food Program gave their input to improve the draft curriculum.

Participants were drawn from Amhara National Regional State Water Resource Bureau,Bahir Dar City Water Office and Bahir Dar University staffs.
