The acadamic exchange program between College of Medicine and Health Sciences and Karolinska Institute has been started

(March 6,2022, Bahur Dar)፡ The academic exchange program between College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Bahir Dar University and Karolinska Institute, Sweden which was delayed due to COVID-19 has been started.

Dr. Tesfaye Taye (senior peditrician and pediatric cardiologist, former Clinical Director of TGSH and former Dean of SoM) and Dr. Enyew Abate (obstetrician/gynecologist and the Head of the Ob/Gy Dept ) headed to Karolinska Institute as the first exchange scholars.

In the exchange program, they will be sharing experiences, learn Karolinska Insitute's academic systems, strengthen the existing partnership and introduce the 10-year strategic plan of the college to Karolinska Institute management for more collaboration in academia, research and clinical medicine.

And the medical student exchange program is to be followed in couple of weeks.
