Student Activities

We welcome students to be active outside their classroom work to be an all round successful leaders in the society. Students may join clubs or sports activities. Clubs such as gender, environmental and HIV/AIDS clubs are available in the college. The main aim of Clubs and Activities in the college is to assist students to;

  • Engage in useful living.
  • Develop Leadership skills.
  • Pursue personal interests.
  • Engage in community service.
  • Form a network of friends and contacts.

Housing and Dining

The college provides dormitory and cafeteria services to its undergraduate students. These services are not allowed to Postgraduate students. Please follow this link http://studentinfo.bdu.edu.et/DormitoryPlacement.aspx for further information regarding current dormitory placement status.

Cost sharing

According to the Higher Education Cost Sharing Regulation No.91/2003 of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Council of Minister, all beneficiaries of public institutions of higher learning shall share full costs related with boarding and lodging and a minimum 15% of tuition related costs (article 4).
