Professor Kassa Dargie, MD, PhD, FSAR, FESUR, DTM&P delivers a public lecture on 'Sonographic Evaluation of Acute Abdomen on selected cases'.

(May 22, 2023, Bahir Dar): Professor Kassa Dargie, MD, PhD, FSAR, FESUR, DTM&P, Professor of Radiology and Surgery at University of Pennsylvania and an Adjunct Professor at College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Bahir Dar University, delivered a public lecture on 'Sonographic Evaluation of Acute Abdomen on selected cases'.

The lecture focused on different imaging features of bowel on "NEC" xray and ultrasound images, on how to do and what to expect from the ultrasound scan and ultrasound of acute scrotum.

The lecture was followed by a lively question and answer session where the faculty members and residents were able to ask the professor questions about the topics touched in his talk.

The professor also had a visit to the CT-Scan and MRI room of Tibebe Ghion Specialized Hospital, and he appreciated the progress of the imaging department in particular and college in general.
